The daily ritual
A little attention.
A better beginning.
Good coffee at home does not need a ceremony. Start with what you enjoy, and give it a little care.
Choose your cup.
Think about what draws you back to a coffee: familiar richness, a lighter profile or something unexpected. Begin there.
- Dearest: cocoa, caramel and vanilla direction.
- First Light: fruit and floral direction.
- Ardently: a barrel-aged expression.
Give it a fair start.
Use clean brewing equipment, fresh water and the grind suited to your brewer. Follow your brewer’s instructions as a starting point.
Change one thing at a time when you adjust your cup. That makes it easier to find what you like.
Make it yours.
Black, with milk or over ice: the best ritual is the one you look forward to. Taste before adding anything, then follow your preference.
Keep the bag tightly closed in a cool, dry place between cups.
